On May 22, 2025, the thesis defense for the 2025 postgraduate students of the School of Biomedical Engineering, Guangzhou Medical University was held in Room A3-610, Panyu Campus. After rigorous academic review and intense defense sessions, both master students Zihao Zheng and Zeqing Li from the laboratory successfully passed their defenses.
The thesis title of master student Zihao Zheng is "Research on Microgel Bioink for Volumetric Bioprinting". This project has developed a new type of microgel bioink for volumetric bioprinting, which has both good printability and cytocompatibility.
The thesis title of master student Zeqing Li is "Research on the Method of Using Volumetric Bioprinting for Matrigel Photocurable BioInks". This project has developed a new type of matrigel bioinks for volumetric bioprinting, achieving photopolymerizable printing of the matrigel and broadening its application in the field of organoids.
